Business analysis at Fortuna

In 2022, Evolveum’s IdM midPoint (MP) tool was implemented and delivered to Fortuna’s customer environment. Parallel to this project, business analysis was also started in connection with the preparation of business roles for upload and management in IdM.
Goal of the analysis
Analysis of existing user permissions in the customer’s information systems in connection with the preparation of documents for the creation of Business roles for more effective management and systematic control of these permissions in applications linked to and controlled from IdM.
Analysis description
The analysis included:
- Definition of the division of Business roles
- Definition of work instructions for creating Business roles
- Mapping between the different outputs of the end systems
- Checking and modifying the received outputs from the individual end systems
- Creation of the resulting matrix for the given organizational unit as a basis for the Business Role
- Methodology and documentation of the procedures used to create the documents
